Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Updates to the Local-let Process in Ohio Webinar, The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT’s) Office of Local Programs and Office of Diversity & Inclusion hosted a webinar on May 11th, 2016, to inform Ohio Local Public Agencies (LPAs) about important updates regarding the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) process for Local-let Projects.

Beginning July 1, 2016, the process for how contractors will fulfill their DBE obligation will be updated to be in compliance with the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA’s) requirements.This webinar will detail the procedures, timeframes and steps for maintaining compliance for contractors and how these processes will affect the Sale and Award of locally administered transportation projects.
