Business Leaders Share Ethical Issues in Business Leadership Course, How do high level executives deal with the ethical issues in business today?
Donna Sockell, Former Director of the Center for Education on Social Responsibility (CESR), comments on CESR elective course Leadership Challenges: Exercises in Moral Courage – a course built around the visits of six business executives, who will share several critical experiences they have had in the world of business.
Each visitor will present the facts and issues surrounding these experiences, detail his/her personal analyses of the situations involved (including decision making reasoning), and describe the resolution of the challenges he/she has faced.
This presentation will be followed by student group presentations of how they would resolve an additional dilemma faced by this executive, who has provided the facts and issues surrounding this dilemma in advance of his/her visit to the class.
